Delivered by the Australian Prostate Centre, this practical case-based education session will provide GPs and primary care clinicians with an up-to-date overview of the identification, investigation and management of renal cancer.
Using real-world case studies to bring the content to life, the session will explore the signs and symptoms that may indicate renal cancer, appropriate diagnostic work-ups in primary care, and the role of renal biopsy in confirming diagnosis and guiding management. Participants will also gain an understanding of current treatment options, including both surgical and non-surgical approaches, potential treatment-related side effects, when surgery is recommended, and the key principles of post-surgical surveillance and follow-up care.

Dr Cristian Udovicich, Radiation Oncologist.
Learning outcomes:
- Explain the symptoms of renal cancer.
- List appropriate investigations to order prior to seeing a urologist.
